What We Aim to Achieve

Provide life skills, shelter, education, and emotional support to vulnerable youth in and around Bwindi.

Transform disadvantaged communities by offering empowerment, training, and innovation exposure.

Offer basic education to orphaned children and empower the community with life skills to fight poverty.

Construct and equip a center that accommodates more children with life-transforming skills programs.

Mobilize resources to support children affected by wildlife-related conflicts, including orphans of deceased or imprisoned parents.

Ensure safety and protection of children at home, school, and in communities around the National Park.

Rehabilitate reformed orphans through music, dance, sports, and skills training as income alternatives.

Support community-led sustainable technologies to enhance long-term development.

Raise awareness about conservation and the dangers of poaching to protect wildlife.

Provide micro-loans to skilled individuals for self-sustenance.

Build dormitories for orphaned boys and girls for safe accommodation and access to programs.

Teach proper knowledge on HIV/AIDS to community members and orphans alike.

Develop a complex with a school, shelters, and a medical clinic on BOEC-owned land.
